hi, just asking on behalf of a friend: on the k750 can you have reminders that repeat. is it possible to just enter a friends bday and have it repeat year after year without ever having to input it again?
thanks

nope. it works just like earlier

phones when you create the apointment on the phone. i.e. no repeat.
as always, if you create the anniversary in outlook and sync then you get an individual event created for each occurrence of the event (e.g. in this case an individual birthday entry for each year)

off topic...but does your friend really plan on keeping the phone for more than a year?

masseur you're WRONG!!!
In the k750i, if you enter the birthday in your contact's infos, you are asked if you want to add the recurrent date in the calendar, and if you say yes, then every year at 9am you will have a reminder that you have to wish someone a happy birthday!

I love it when people tell me I'm wrong. doesn't happen often fortunately
anyway you are quite correct, if you enter a birthday via the contact this does repeat as mentioned. I only sync my contacts so I hadn't tried entering a new contact yet.
strange that they should provide this feature from the contacts side but not from the calendar side
still, its good to add something new to he list of K750 improvements so thanks for that
