Well, we all know that t610,t630,k700, s700, didnīt have the required API for java to acess the BT port
Well, that change with new phone like k600, k750, w800
So can some of the new k750 owners test this apps:
BT explorer
freejack - in this one i think you have to change the phoneīs date to 2004 to avoid expired message
bloover
mobiluck (this is the 6230 version, but i think they can make a dedicated SE version in the next months)
http://rapidshare.de/files/1970404/bluetooth_java_apps.zip.html
Also, it would be good if two k750 users could join together and test some bluetooth multiplayer java games like Fatal Force (macrospace) - be sure to use s60 or 6230 version on both phones
Finally, and knowing k750 also supports the java API to acess PIM functions (calendar, phonebook, file exploreretc), it would be really good to find and test some apps like the ones that already exist for Siemens: calendar apps, txt reader (without having to put the txt file inside the jar), etc

I think only a very limited number of people on Esato would have even touched Java developement on SE phones.
I have some experience (only through a course module) of developing a web service using the Java emulator, but I'm not sure if the phone even includes the APIs for this either.
Perhaps having a look around here will lead to the answer to your question about the supported APIs?

Students might see a good solution to cheat during test and exams

or just chatting while listening to a boring old freak
