Hi all,

Thought I'd start the inevitable topic regarding how Orange have branded the K750i.

Is it like the K700i branding?

With slightly Orangy menu icons, and the 3 shortcuts on the desktop?

Well, if it is anything like what Orange normally do it will look awful and only have about 70% of the functionality of a sim free model. Orange are slowly catching up with Vodafone when it comes to the ability of screwing up good handsets.

O2 are the best - they do very little which is the best way.

Anyone got their Orange K750i yet? I'll be getting mine tomorrow, was hoping someone would have one already and post a list of Orange firmware mods so I wouldn't be too upset tomorrow. I'll post sometime on Thursday if no-one else has.

ive got it as as far as i know (i havent see a normal k750 to compair) the only difference i can see is that they've changed all the menu icons. Everything seems the same. O yeah and there are a few pre-defined items that you cant delete and some horrible themes

One thing you can now is to edit the shortcuts, finally!

Excellent, I can live with the modified icons. So no annoying main desktop shortcuts that break the rest of the phone features like they did on the K700 then?

@chriskerrison. I think the configurable shortcuts on the K750 will turn out to be as useful and wont stop things like the popup SMS alert from appearing, so we should get the best of both worlds.

I almost ordered mine on-line but thought I'd check the phone line to see if they actually had stock. I was told they can turn the phone around a bit quicker if you ordered over the phone, effectively next day.
