its really frustrating that i cant do this
i just will be satisfied if i can just add a name and number in flip closed mode
hope there is a solution

There is a way but it's very very annoying. Dial the number and then press the option button. If i remember it right, the add contact is the second choice and the option will disappear very very fast when the phone starts calling the number so you better have a fast eye. This is also wierd because as you are entering the data, the phone will keep calling the number so you have to cancel the call at once.
Maybe someone here has an easier way of doing this.

oh man.... it IS damn annoying.... I couldn't get to open the option tough I see it for a very very fraction of second
