does the p series support real tones, i would have thought no, because we cant get realplayer, but i looked at some ringtone sites, which say that the p-series supports them. is this right, or just them trying to get more people to buy their products?

A real tone is simply either a .wav file or an mp3 file of the sounds. The p800 does not support using these files as ringtones and is simply polyphonic, but the p910 certainly supports them. you simply need to copy one of your existing mp3 files to the phone then use sound settings from within the control panel and choose the file to use. the P800 does not support mp3 ringtones, but it certainly does support wav ringtones.

well, a friend of mine has a nokia 3650 which accepts 'realtones'. in his case, it can't even use mp3 ringtones but just wav's. i don't think nokia meant real as in real player but rather that they are realistic sounding tones and not those rinky-dink polyphonics
