Does the 2gb actually work? I know that someone on the forum (seanflynn or somebody like that) bought one and then sold it very quickly and he said it worked but it would be nice to have some more comments along the same lines.

As for what I would do with 2gb its very simple... more music

i have spoken to a sony ericsson rep and he has told me that there is NO limit on the size of card that the P910, K750 & W800 can take, so 2, 4, 10gig (as and when they are made) will all work fine!

It uses FAT32 which should have no real limits.

This is the sole reason why Pro cards dont work in our P900's., The P900 only supports the FAT file system, the hardware can handle the connection on PRO but the OS just cant read the File system.

They really should release an official firmware upgrade to support FAT32. They would sell a bucket load of memory sticks then, lets face it. I cant afford a P910 but I can afford a 512mb memory stick.

Wake up SE. Smell the money we want to give you!

Take a look inside a 1GB memory stick pro

And 2GB

As you can see a fraction of the physical size is taken up with the wafer. You could fit another 3 wafers in there and easily go upto 3-4gb. But would cost about £600

WTF would you do with 2GB.......

erm...

well my iPod is 40GB......so 2GB isn't much really. At All.

Also, you can fill it up with films easy. I have a 128MB card and have Anchorman on it at the moment. It is truly fantastic. Not only that but Liverpool won the Champions league last night. So im even more happy. Not only that, but just after they won, my P900 f**ked up and today i was told that a P910i would be sent to me tomorrow. So IM REALY BLOODY HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!
