Hi

I own a nokia 6230,I tried downloading an mp3 to my phone via bluetooth and at that time my memory card was showing 28mb as free...but i keep getting that annoying error that says i have no space...so i tried to delete some stuff from gallery and messages to free up space but no luck.
can anyone pls advise on how to actually use that space for my mp3.

thanks
NokC

Perhaps you should throw you 6230 in the bin and get a decent model (k700/k750).

How much space do you have on your phone memory? Free more phone memory and try. If it doesn't work then take joebmc's advice.... This message was posted from a T230

Well thing is i have already cleared my phone memory but it still shows funny messages!
the file iam trying to bluetooth to my phone is only 5mb and my memory card shows 28mb is free..
I reckon the phone memory was set to default receiver of any files but then i need to change that to point it to my memory card.
There has just got to be a way guys!!there must be a way.

with the 6230, when you receive files through bluetooth, it will always save to the phone memory primarily, but once it is on the phone memory, you get the option of whether to save it to the mmc or the phone memory itself. You cant have it save to the mmc without saving it to the phone first

Hope this helps

I think a card reader is in order.

if your phone only holds 5mb and if it saves to the phone and the file might be more than 5mb so therefore it wont work.....

Just buy a card reader off ebay. I got one for under a tenner and it works fine and quickly.
