is there any program out there that lets you design your own theme and assemble it into the format to upload to the phone? or can it be done using photo shop or something? I have a k750i phone.

There are plenty of threads about this, but to short-cut for you...

Go to Sony Ericsson dot com and select Developer World.
Look for Themes Creator 1.7, you'll have to register as a software developer though.

Use Photoshop to manipulate the images to the sizes you want and save as .jpg files. Check out the themes threads and find the templates for the transparent highlights and desktop background.

Theme-ing is great fun, good luck!
