ok. so i have been browsing through the forum. i always do. and the google. and other resources. and since i still posted here i believe my questions remained unanswered. so they are, as follows:

got a new HBH-600. what battery type does it have? li-ion, li-pol, ni-mh. i got a few oppinions on this, all different. so i'd like an authorised or verifyed one so i know how to treat chaging. (i sure hope it's not a ni-mh, as if it is...)

i only got this headset to use with skype. sure, works fine with my t610&hp ipaq h6340, but i find it lame to wear all the time for calls every 10 minutes.
i've tried several headsets, bonded to my pc. i took me little to realize audio settings as volume were non-existent. so i made up with that. but unfortunately there are situations when i can't really be loud and a bit of gain on the headset mic would be fantastic. (i wouldn't mind some boost on the earpiece either). is there any way to do that?

[and don't jump to say no. everything is possible! ]
thanx
