The k700 had notoriously bad battery life with the first firmwares, which was improved with later firmwares but still didnt have good battery life even then.

How does the k750 compare to the k700(with updated firmware)? I cant imagine it would be much better as it has a new higher res camera which will drain the power (and also a bigger screen, or is the screen the same?).

The K700 had a 700 mAh battery where the K750 has a 900mAh battery. This, along with the improvement in electronics and better power saving in the software, is what makes the difference. I used to sometimes struggle to make it through a day with my K700 if I used it a lot. My K750 lasts for two full days of heavy use and still has some power left to spare.

my first charge lasted for 2 days and a half. and trust me, it was heavy use.

i tested the media player with music and video many times. ive tested the camera quite a bit, and ive left the bluetooth on for hours mone than once...

if i can get 2 full days with such use, i think i should be happy !!!

A possible way to further improve your battery life is to remove your MSD whenever you didn't use it. I didn't own a k750 but hbm30 work when I do this. Plus stand by of this bt product improve when i encode my song in atrac3... This message was posted from a T610

This would save 5% battery drainage maximum so in my opinion it isn't worth the hassle.

well i guess thats something i suppose. im planning on gettin the samsung D600 now though.

I cant stand these SE joysticks. I had a T610, joystick broke, had a k700, joystick broke (as well as it being too big to move around properly, the t610 one was much easier to use), so wont be touching it again. K750 screen is also the same as k700 screen so im going for the d600 when it comes out with a far bigger screen. Of course that may mean poor battery life on it compared to the k750 so ill have to get some info on that first.

yeh, although the k700i that i used to have, didnt have that bad of a battery life, its was pretty good, although i have to admit this one is a helluva lot better, my brother got his one yesterday, and he was on the fone for 2hours, and had bluetooth on the whole time, took around 40pics, listened to mp3s, transfered files through bluetooth, did almost everything you can do with the fone, and the battery finally gave up at around 2am this morning when he got it at 4pm the day before, and this was without charging from the box
