guy was the memory card inserted in the phone when you got it or it was in the box

I think he might be curious as to whether his phone was a new one or a returned one - ie if the card is meant to be in the box why was it in his phone.

My K750 phone box still has the Sony Ericsson seal on it and the card was in the phone so I suspect this is normal.

I think SE put the Memory Card in the phone in order to prevent stupid people (and there are a lot!) from putting their SIM card in it!!! lol
When you look at the quick guide for getting started, they have a picture showing you don't have to put your SIM card in that slot!

the rubber cover is bit fiddley getting off, I like the convertor you get with it cause my vaio laptop has a memory slot so I can just plug it straight it my laptop.
