For the ones who have purchased the new K750i and have used the S700i as well. How does it compare ? Ofcourse the obvious differences like better camera on K750i are not what I'm looking for. How's f.i. menu-speed compared to S700i ? Any other differences/impressions ? Thanks !

This is a very helpful comparison review, which shows how superb the K750i camera is:

itd smaller in size to get started!
and the menu is much faster and filled with animation

the lights look much brighter to me also and the speaker seem to be louder

there is also the addition of the "Activity" menu and key

the cam looks factor on S700 is definately nicer....
plus its a ccd lens which is supposedly better.

but s700 is a pain to open n close... especially when moving around and receiving sms all the time...

k750 is plain candybar... nice menu animation... more memory due to MSD pro.... vs s700 128mb max..
2mp cam...
auto focus...
brighter leds....

the biggest thing i miss from s700 is that i could actually enjoy images from anime/photo's with a decent res(looking at pr0n while riding the buss!).

other then that the k750 is all good.
you really notice how thin it is in your pocket.
the joystick is really nice and speeds up the flow quite alot. before i used to open the phone just to reach the shortcut buttons, but now its works much better having a good joystick and speed buttons close at hand.
much memory for mp3s and getting good sound from it(can buy "earplug" headset later to remove background/irl noise).
Aero mission 3D & super real tennis is really good with joystick compared to the old s700 controll, so much more fun with it. i actually might play tennis now!
it has multi tasking system! can open several stuff at once and minimize and do something else and then come back with a push of the middle button

conclusion: a great buy if you are looking for a thiner phone with mp3 function

Thanks, that was helpfull. I especially like the multi-tasking system. I used to own a Siemens SX1 which had this system and it worked very well. Generally it just speeds up the system, esp. when re-starting apps. I have to say though that I really like my S700i. The screen is the biggest plus, and menu-lag is imo neglitable. Needs a bit getting used to but it's no real problem. What I do have a slight problem with is the weight and dimensions of the phone. It's just a bit too heavy and thick for carrying comfortably in your pocket. Other than that it's a great phone. I'll have to think hard about getting the K750i. Again the biggest plusses are multi-tasking and the overall weight and dimensions of that phone.

s700i is too bulky in pocket..although it has a large screen and a good resolution..but for me k750i IS REALLY "IN" in terms of designs, features, and quality!

Does K750's java allows multitasking as well? It'd be great! This message was posted from a T630
