I dont seem to ba having any luck with SE phones at the moment!
My latest problem is that my keypad wont work! the letters on the inside will but the numbers on the front wont..
I have taken the keypad off and re started the phone! any other sugestions?

Sounds like you may need to replace the electronic flip altogether, i have a spare brand new one (long story) but obviously cant confirm if it would resolve your particular problem, as its loss of function maybe due to something else.
