During initial charge the K750 charger was extremely hot? Surely this can't be normal?

In the english language we have cold ambient luke warm, warm hot etc. I'd say it was hot but not like melting the casing. Never experienced this problem with other SE chargers!

I've often experienced
chargers to get quite warmish and have never been overly concerned as long as it is functioning correctly and proving charge as expected
On the one occassion I was concerned with a charger I sent the charger to SE expecting a replacement but they tested it and sent it back saying it was working as expected
