i've forgotten my s700 phone lock code
anyway i can reset it??
(i have a terminator cable - but its in work so don't want to trek out there and back to find it wont reset the pin no..)

As marran says, find out your PUK code, then simply enter your PIN wrong 3 times so the phone requests the PUK code. Then you can enter a new PIN.

To find out your puk code call your opertaor up...if its o2 then you can check online at their website.

if i swap the sim to my old t610 it then works ok ...
so its phone related ..
I bought the s700i unbranded new from a reseller, where as the t610 is from orange (so has the orange crap all over it)..
i'm on orange..

Perhaps the SIM is faulty. Could you get a replacement from your operator? That could be the simplest solution.

P.S. the orange website is crap .. its crashed out on me more than twice now

- even their feedback form is broken and returns an error

so its the s700 thats the issue ..
