I know that the K750 has only just been released, but I wonder if anyone can answer the following questions:
1. I use to own a T610, using the commands > *
2. Sony has changed the base connector (different charger, pc connector etc.). Is there a service for unlocking the K750i?
3. Essentionally I want to put an dual sim adaptor in (if one is available) so I can switch between two networks. Has any tried a dual sim adaptor in the k750i?
Thanks,
Zac

1. the same sequence still gets you into the service menu. from there just click service info and there you see the sim lock option
2. I haven't seen any mention of one here yet and our resident expert, gbrooks3, says it will be a couple of months probably

masseur - thanks for the help however if I go into the service menu I'm prompted for 3 things:
Model Info - This just displays a new box with "Model: K750i" in it
Software Info - This just displays the current firmware version etc (R1A044)
Configuration - This displays the IMEI number, Frequencies the phone works on and some other stuff, nothing to do with Locks that I can see?
Any help?

Try < * * < and that should show you your sim-lock status too, careful not to mess in this menu though, since this is where you enter codes to lock/unlock the handset.

That does not display the locked information on the K750i, on my T610 it does.
The phone is a contract phone from Orange, I have done a master reset of the phone and tried again and still nothing
Any ideas?

If the phone is an Orange handset, and these options have been removed from the phone it would suggest to me that it is locked, but of course the best way to try is to put another network's sim card in it.

The option has propably been removed from the servicemenu by Orange, when branding the firmware. Along with what ever things they have messed up. Never buy branded phones....if one can avoid it.

@Zacpack
(a) The reason u can't access to menu is because u MISSED a *
It should be > *
(b) Yes, the connector is different, and I have just got the cable for it ... and it's quite troublesome that the cable can only work with a 3V power supply!! I wish the cable supplier can modify the schematic!!
software with dongle was released last week..and it's finally with me today
everything is ready, hopefully, I shall be able to offer the K750i unlocking end of this week after I test on a K750i phone on this thursday
