hi, how could i make my computer mic act like a real mic so when i speak the sound comes straight out the speakers. im sure this is possible but i cant figure out how. i just think this is a cool feature to have. pls help!

plug it in , turn it on, click sound properties icon in bottom right hand corner, click options, then properties, then click the microphone box, then get out of the properties, you should now see the microphone volume control on the main set of controls and then untick the mute box and bobs your un cle

ive tried this before.
make sure you keep the mic away from your speakers or you will get a large amount of noisy feedback!
