Gold number, ha , more like lazy persons number.
If you are ill, mentally ill, diseased etc. then these numbers are fantastic because they're easy to remember, also good for children.
But for a grown up willing to waste money on these numbers i don't see the point. I'm on a personal crusade to make known my views about these silly things!!!

its just a nice number to have. it sounds good and is easy to remember if you are forgetful and you need to call that number from a phone box and you dont have the number written down.

No way should 07777777777 be a gold number you'd get half way throught and forget how many 7's you put! Agree with the emergency thing,tat and givingout your number is a lot easier!
