Hi everyone. I've asked Vodafone to send me a unlock code for my Sharp 902, they agreed and said it will take couple of days to be sent to my email address. I just wondering anyone here had done so before? How long did you wait for that?

Another thing I found werid is they did not charge me at all. ?????

yes strange they do not charge you. If phone is less old than 1 year they'll charge you. Well I got unlock codes sometimes very quick. Sometimes the i-mei is not in the database and vodafone requests the unlockcode at sharp. this may take upto 2 weeks.

@Dragonfly_TP

Thanks for your reply. I think what they did is request the code from sharp. So I just can wait...

As you said it's werid they didn't charge me, so is there a possibility that they refuse to give me the code later on?

Hi,

I think they will charge you 20 pounds.

I had a 902 for a while. Interestingly it could receive email's in Japanese, because the character set is still embedded. But no Japanese input and no POP/IMAP so I sent it back!

Other UK phones cannot even receive or send emails from Japan in English! ...

I think it will take about 4 days. They said to me 4-6 days before.

I also saw in another forum a post that showed the settings for wap? for o2 and how they worked on the Sharp 902 but dam dam dam, I can't find that post now.

It would be interesting to see some pictures taken with it and how they compare to the K750i!

@ofiaich

Thanks. So you mean they probably gonna charge me through the bill or something right?

I haven't got the wap settings for O2 here. Sorry about that... But it is worth to try to copy the original voda wap settings and relatively modify them according to O2's settings...
