> Firmware update in the Netherlands messed up !

After the purchase of my HBH-30 I wanted to upgrade the firmware to R2E006. After calling a couple of dealers the following information was given to me by salespeople:
- ALL phone house stores are removing their Ericsson update desks or removed them already, noone knows why but it seems to be a problem with SE since parts haven't been delivered since 2 months.
- Other shops with a servicepoint cannot update online.
This last one wasn't a big problem. I convinced some guy in a shop that is was possible to update but they needed to change their dialup settings. This is indeed the problem, the ISDN dialup point for the ericsson desks has been closed. If you enter any other internet account settings and reboot, the desk works as usual.
This way, I finally got my R2E006 update for my T68
Stupid ericsson guys, all shops are pissed. maerketing is running top-notch and support is at an all-time low. Oh well, at least you know what's happening in servicedesk world

Can you tell me where you got FW R2E006, because I have the same problem. All the SE SP's are telling me that they can't do a software update for me because Sony wants to close all SP's.

I upgraded about three weeks ago in Utrecht.
I also ask them to remove the dust under my screen but the told me the where not aloud to openup the t68. Everthing later than t39 they were not aloud to open. To do so you have to send your phone to SE. They told me things are going to change for the servicepoints in the Netherlands but he also couldn't tell me what the changes were.
