Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)
Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")
Email Address: your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g.,
user@yahoo.com)
Password: your Yahoo! Mail password

I think the basic yahoo mail account (free) doesn't allow you to use external email client to read email. You need at least the "Plus" account in order to do so (which is gonna cost you).

I'm using Yahoo! Mail with my P910i's Messages application (system one) without any problems.
Go to Control Panel - Connections - Messaging accounts - Email. Create a new account. Input your name & account's name. Then - your email address kinda
blahblahblah@yahoo.co.uk, choose POP3 as a connection type. In Inbox settings input name as blahblahblah (without @yahoo.co.uk part), your password. Incoming server address should be pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk, Outbox outgoing server - smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk. Tick SMTP authentication & Use Inbox login details. Click Done.
Enjoy, this should work fine. Remember to change the zone in the settings to the one you use (for example, if you use Yahoo! Mail from
www.yahoo.com, change ....yahoo.co.uk to ....yahoo.com in every field).
Email me at modellista508_AT_yahoo.co.uk if you experience any further problems.
Note: I don't own a Plus account, everything works fine with a free one.

Inbox login details is the same I need to use when login from the browser right? In configuration is it necessary to make any changes at Advanced?

dosn"t work for me either. Really strange, the yahoo mail help desk claims that pop3 access is only availble for Plus members:
"Client vs. web-based email?
Email clients such as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express require the POP Access feature to be enabled for your mailbox. This features is not enabled for Free Yahoo! Mail accounts.
To get POP Access, you can subscribe to:
Yahoo! Mail Plus "

Yeah it seems like we need Yahoo! Mail Plus and if nobody find any solution then I think I will go for it. $20/year is not so bad.

just seems silly to pay for yahoo mail when gmail is out there for free with more storage and pop3 access...
just my 2 cents.
