Quite how they know what the best products of 2005 are when we've still got 6 months of product releases to go, but anyway...
Here's some of my highlights:
BEST SMALL PC
Apple Mac Mini
Tiny, elegant, quiet, and inexpensive, Apple's latest inventive machine could turn you into a Mac user.
Review
BEST OPERATING SYSTEM
Apple Mac OS X Version 10.4 (Tiger)
Tiger's big new addition--to what was already a well-engineered Mac operating system--is Spotlight, a speedy, well-integrated tool for searching your hard drive. And it's the best-looking OS around. In other words, Mac fans are already enjoying the cool features that Windows won't deliver until late 2006.

Ranked number 3 in Top 100, after Firefox and GMail
BEST LARGE-CAPACITY MP3 PLAYER
Apple iPod Photo
A color screen, photo capability, and a TV-out option make this device the first truly useful digital audio and photo portable.
Review
BEST MEDIA PLAYER
Apple iTunes
It's great at letting you legally share music with others on the same network. Oh, and did we mention it works with the most popular audio player on the planet?
Review
BEST MUSIC DOWNLOADS
Apple iTunes Music Store
One-click simplicity, a huge selection, exclusive tracks, and playlists from many artists give it universal appeal. But we'd like to see a higher bit rate for downloads, as well as a subscription service.
Review
BEST HANDHELD GAMING DEVICE
Sony PlayStation Portable
The innovative PSP doubles as a personal video player. A beautiful screen, great graphics and sound, and a full lineup of games outweigh the drawbacks, such as slow loading times from Sony's Universal Media Disc and the high cost of Memory Stick Duo cards.

Nice to see FireFox at the top of the list, it's not often I'd agree with anything that PCWorld say (it's not my favourite gimp mag) but on this occasion they've got it right for a change

Notice he chose those topics

.
But meh, I agree with all of those except the OS and the MP3 Player. Oh and if they said iTunes was the best player, im outraged. But I have to admit, it does have the best music store.
