> P800 battery life span?

Hello, I've had my P800 for about two years and now my battery is going bonkers. It drains ultra fast after a call but then the percentage meter goes up again after I put the phone down. I've tried everything recommended on this forum so I've come to the sad conclusion that its time to buy a new battery. Just wondering if this is normal after 2 years of usage? Is that about the lifespan of the P800 battery? Has anyone used theirs beyond 2 years? Thanks

yes, batterys are normally officially given a 1 year lifespan but seeing as the warranty on the phone only covers the battery for 6 months I would think thats the lifespan they really expect.
