Hi... I wanted 2 change the icon set of my P910i, in the urge 2 do so,i installed \"Gnome Icon Pack XP\" which instructed me 2 restart my fone after installation. I did so only 2 find that my fone didnt boot up(hanging on the SE logo screen). The icon set ws automatically installed in C:, so the fone didnt boot even after removig the MS Duo Pro!! After many failed tricks, i had 2 get the fone flashed costing me Rs800 here in Delhi... This message was posted from a WAP device

if only you did a search prior to installing that icon pack... i'm sorry to break this to you, but previously there have been quite a few people who have complained about the same issue. they too had to reflash the fw, eventually...

that is for p800 and p900 only. NOT p910. it says in the readme file...

I've been hoping someone would come along and figure this out, but it is a well documented problem. For now you are stuck with the icons the phone came with.

well, I have had this same problem after installing a icon pack on my p910i, and I needed to format my interal memory (you can read all about this in the biggest thread about this issue)

But I found a way to use the gnome icons on my P910i, for anyone who is intrested
