Hi all,

Is there a way to send recorded voice memos from the phone to the PC? I have tried the search engine but not found anything.

Thanks.

Hi You can not do it directly in sound recorder menu (or how to call it in english) but u are able to do it in menu own sounds where u can find your voice records (between ringtones) Sound is in AMR format so u need to convert it to ie wav. This post was posted from a Nokia

The only way you can send recorded sound from phone to pc is via irda, bluetooth or mms

Find your recorded sound in menu Fun & Games > My sound, then you have an option Send via Infrared or Bluetooth or MMS.

Just send from your phone once you've activated your infrared or bluetooth at pc.

The pc will capture the sound in .amr format. Then you can convert this amr file format to wav using AMR converter software.

You can find this software at link http://www.totonox.com/Software.html

Actually, if you look at Nokia's site for the 7650, there is a link to VoiceAge who supply a free codec that will decode AMR files to play on Windows Media Player.

http://www.voiceage.com/products/spotamr-decoder.asp

No need to convert the AMR to WAV (good idea seeing as AMR will be used more and more for 3G as well).

I am trying to send a 72kb (114 sec.) AMR recording from the t68i to a computer via bluetooth (msi 6967 adapter). But I just get the error: "Transfer failed. Please retry."

Sending other objects (imy, pics, other AMR files included) works fine. It's just this particular file I'm having problems with. Does anyone know if there's some sort of issue with large-sized AMRs being sent by bluetooth?

I got no IR port, so I cant try sending it by IR. Any info is appreciated. TIA
