Are you able to use the dual sim card holders for 2 SIM cards from the same network? i.e. 2 O2 sims?
And is there any issues/bad points I should be aware off before deciding to purchasing one of these holders?

Probably but maybe what you don't realise is that they only run one sim at a time.
You turn the phone off and on again and they switch from one sim to the other. Could become iritating if you ask me.
Much better to just use two phones

I damage a Z600 using the version that you cut down the two sims....just too bulky.....
And the other version....which looks like a Y.....just took upto too much room in my P900.....
But yes....got to turn it on and off.....was not brilliant....

Another option is a multi-sim where you program more than 1 sim card onto a blank sim, but they can be expensive if you dont already own a programmer and alot of newer sim cards cannot be backed up from what I hear.

There are some on eBay, or there was a while back. They could house two SIMs and if a call came in to the secondary SIM it would automatically forward it to the first SIM, thus allowing two SIMs to be used in one phone.

Its so much easier just to buy a cheap second phone. Not to mention you don't run the risk of destroying the SIMs and the phone

I have been using a dual sim like this one for almost a year now with no problems at all in a K700i :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay[....]ory=68022&item=6402477572&rd=1
One is Vodafone for the "Vodafone Live" and the other is "Tesco" for cheap text, calls and GPRS.
You do have to switch the phone on and off to change from one sim to the other and i can imagine if both sims were O2 then how would you know which number was which without searching menus each time.
