I'm new here and I have done my best trying to search the forum for an answer.
I use the danish 3g provider 3 and I have downloaded some video clips from their portal. They are protected so before I discovered FMA I was not able to even copy the files to my PC.
Now I have used FMA to copy the files to my desktop, but I can't find an app which can play the files as is or convert them to mpg, avi or some other playable video format.

Can't read file header!
Unknown file format!
During my search I have learned that dcf(Design rule for Camera File system) files are protected files used in digicams too.
But how to play those dcf video files on a pc is still unknown to me!

Well maybe I should say that if I record a video clip using my camera in the phone, the file is called .3gp which I can play with QT

yup that makes sense. The .dcf extension is a digital rights extension. Not sure if you can 'peel off' the DRM protection with DRM packager to be honest (never tried it) but the protection is there to
prevent you from playing it on any other device but your phone to begin with
