The prototype of K750i CCD had been handed out to most reviewers throughout and one person managed to received the prototype to test it out of the K750i CCD and CMOS

First though sorry for the small pix

K750i CCD

The person couldn't put up the full picture but he did stated that the CCD managed to eliminate much more Noise away from the picture while CMOS had many left. From what I see from the CMOS, very few Noise was already noticed, but CCD would managed to be better in contrasting and picking every bits of details.

Also, the views picture wouldn't be much difference and pretty hard to distinguish between the two. While entering Night mode and Macro mode, you could tell which is CCD and which is CMOS. For my opinion, the pictures doesn't really differs that much between the two so people who are waiting to get the CCD version should rethink and get the CMOS right away, since its pretty much a waste of time waiting for a phone to be too old or new phones coming out and u'll never get a new phone to use.

I don't believe that there is enough difference to worry about, why are they planning to put this more expensive camera in when it is hard to tell the difference.
Doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Let's wait for the full-size pictures, especially ones taken in the dark. CCD is said to be better at showing less noise in dark conditions. Though looking at the K750i pic thread, the current CMOS already does a good job of it.

Edit: For @aps's benefit, taken from www.digitalcamerabasics.com:

"A digital camera uses a sensor to snag an image to store on it's memory card. Most higher quality digital cameras use a "C.C.D." (charge-coupled-device) sensor to do this. These come in different quality and sizes, and their images are measures in pixel size (see resolution and pixels). Another form of image sensor is called a C.M.O.S. sensor (complementary metal oxide semiconductor), and is usually used in cheaper devices like web cams, or digital cameras under $100.00, since it's much cheaper to make than a C.C.D. sensor. Of course, a C.M.O.S. image is usually much worse as a result of it's price. Today however, when buying a very inexpensive digital camera, it's still best to make sure on the box or with the salesperson that it's a C.C.D. camera and not a C.M.O.S.

The exception to this rule are "digital SLR" cameras - the types where you can change the lenses much like film SLR cameras. Canon in particular uses a very high quality C.M.O.S. chip in their digital SLR cameras, which do in these cases produce excellent images. The catch? The cheapest digital SLR is around $1,000.00, and they go up steadily from there."

Btw welcome to Esato

Well, it's because it not in full mode but cut. That's why u can't see the REAL comparision between them.If u ask me, this comparision is useles cuz they're not in actual size but modified.

I think I made a good choice getting the k750 now then wait for the CCD one, 6 months is a long wait.

Time is money

By December people will be wanting for the 3MP CCD "Harmoine" if rumors are true.
