Hi,

I downloaded the mobile Opera from opera.com to my P910i, however whenever I attempt to load a page the browser just stays blank. It's connecting with GPRS, and the default browser works just fine.

Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers guys, great forum you've got here!

what APN is your GPRS connecting to? if its WAP then proberbly not, you need proper internet, not WAP

Thanks

Well I was using O2 WAP-GPRS to connect, and after reading danny's advice I noticed I also had O2 Mobileweb-GPRS which I used to connect and that works fine.

Hope that helps.

Mmh okay, so I guess Opera needs an "Internet account" to connect, and not a "WAP account" (unlike the default browser that uses a WAP account).

Anyone can confirm this ?

Opera does in fact need an "Internet" account. The default browser can use either WAP or "Internet" though, it is not tied to WAP.

Yeah, that's what I just figured out this afternoon.
Anyway, thanks for the support
