If you want to try out some alternative way of sms input, morse texter is an old but innovative way to key in your text.
Keys are:
1, 4, 7, or * - Dot
2, 5, 8, or 0 - Dash
3, 6, 9, or # - Space
Left arrow - Dot
Right arrow - Dash
OK key - Space
C key - Delete last letter
Call/green key - Send as SMS
