> Memory Stick Pro Duo 1gb

I was wondering if SanDisk Memory Stick 1GB PRO Duo would work in my new z1010.
1) What is the memory limit for cards
2) PRO DUO...is that compatible
3) The card comes with an adapter...would that work with my phone.
4) Must I use sony only brands?
I have an adapter to put the pro in....slide it in and it looks like your every day ol' memory stick duo. Will this work with the z1010.

Sorry dude but i'm certain(watch someone prove me wrong) that the z1010 only supports Duo(upto 128mb) and not Duo Pro(Upto 2gb i believe)... All Memory Stick Duos come with an adaptor so they can be used as full size memory sticks. And you can use any brand of memstick too.

No no no... The adaptor changes it from a Memory stick duo/duo pro to a regular (physical)sized memory stick... The diference in a duo and a duo pro is the size of the memory on the card... Z1010 only support Duo, they DO NOT support any type of duo pro and no adaptor can change this!!! Don't go wasting your money! The biggest card you can put in a z1010 is 128mb!

Burgaz is rite ! All the way... Its all about this Magic Gate thing too. Security, Copyrights n stuff. I too wish, the technology compatibility with Higher capacity sticks should / could be possible with FW upgrade !
