Once a while a get 'strips' on my display but they usually disapers when I move the joystick. But not change of colurs, darker lighter.
Does it happens alot?

No, that is not normal! You sohuld go to a Ericsson Center as soon as possible to take care of that problem!

The stripes are there because that the Screen in the phone is not a Real TFT. i have a old laptop at home ant it has the same problem with the screen.

Always there are some vertical stripes from top to the botom of the screen but at least to my t68 are invisible and only under specific source of light are visible. The darker part of your screen I am affraid is a problem but also the white stripes are easilly recognized from the picture. So, it would be a good idea to visit your nearest SonyEricsson service center.

I've got the same problem with the vertical stripes. Slightly less intense than your's, so it does not really bother me.
The dark part is not good, though.
