I live in NZ and just got a k750i but the camera does not seem to work i open the lens and press the button but it does not take a picture, there is is no shutter sound and the number letting me know how many pics i have left doesn't change either.I can't find anything in the instructions that talks about this.Anybody know what i'm doing wrong or do i have a defective phone.

Take the battery out for a few minutes and reboot. Try again. If that does not help see gelfen's post.
