Hi,

I have been looking at the sonyericsson web site and noticed that there is a new firmware for my p910i, what benefits are there to this new firmware version? I suppose I am asking what it gives me exactly?

Thanks

Scott

Mine is R5A, so i presume R1C will make your P910i the oldest existing unit

I checked on the web site and it said that the latest version for my device was the one that I have stated on the original post, crazy, I have tried the update and there is nothing different that I can see.

from the sound of things I'd say you have a branded handset with O2 UK. No way to check what that firmware does differently other than to talk to your operator. are notoriously bad about release notes and I doubt that they would ever put release notes on 3rd party firmware.
