Hi
I am new to the forum so please go easy on me!!
I have just got the p910i on the o2 network - my problem is that on the main screen there is a icon with o2 on it - every time I click on it, I get a sms regarding the settings of the o2 network. Fine, but now I have all the settings in the phone, I want to get rid of this icon
Anyone any ideas of how I can get rid of it?

I think it's a consequence of the phones' branding, which means that you probably can't get rid of it without getting the phone 'de-branded'. This involves getting the phone unlocked and then updating it with the generic firmware / OS.
One way around it would be to install Tracker, available from
www.my-symbian.com. This application, amongst other things, effectively covers up your main screen with a more customisable one so then you can have whatever icons you want on there
