That is, if i understand what you mean by debranding.

I got the phone from the Carphone Warehouse (UK) on a Vodafone Contract.

Normally Vodafone load up their phones with all their software, with things like links to Vodafone Live.
My phone has none of that. All links point to the SE Wap site.

Maybe taking your phone into a SE Service Centre and getting the software reset to "Factory" settings.

It could work

it doesn't work it still holds the software, tried on my gf's old t610 that has vodaphone software. i hope that there is an update out there though.
