hey all... i have a q that i shud have asked some time bak... but anyway... when sending an sms in the flip open and closed mode how can i choose the phone number that i want to sent to? For exmple if ihave more than 1 mobile number for a person stored under their name in my phonebook, how can i make a selection to which one i wana send to???? is there any software tat can do this...any solution...?? thanx

you dont need software. its built in, when you select the contact and it will ask you which number you want to send.

nope....my phone doest ask me ...... it just selects the default number set for that contact.......
i thought my phone in october and it has never ever asked me??
is there something wrong with the sofare in my fone ...do i need to upgrade????

I just checked, you need to make sure you set it as a home or work mobile number when you create a contact.

and then it will ask you to choose a number.

numbers that have already been saves can be edited in contacts.
just click the contact you want to change, then click the edit tab and select edit contact.

What if I want to send an SMS to a "land line" (not mobile)? It doesn't give me an option to select.

You may ask why I want to send to a land line rather than to a cell phone. It's because here in Canada, Rogers Wireless supports SMS to Land Line where it will translate text message to a speech.
