> K750 remote control can't work in WinXP
Bookmark topic
Hi, I just bought the K750 and must say, it's the best phone from SE to date. the camera is impressive, and the phone looks cool. However, I realize the speaker sound tends to crack when I crank up the vol of the phone to max. I don't experience this with my old T610, does anyone experience this? Also, while playing around with my father's K700, I came across this remote control feature which allows me to control the WMP, PPT and windows desktop using the phone over BT. I knew K750 has a similar feature, but no matter how I tried, it does not work. I went to entertainment menu/remote control, and selected media player, with the media player on my PC running and playing a video. It tried to search for a device to control and failed. and the phone keep saying the PC is asking permission to use the phone as a remote control. Now, am I missing something here? I don't experience this for K700, wat is wrong here? could someone please enlighten me on this? thank you very much for your time and patience.

yes, I was able to sync over BT, use the file manager as well, in fact my BT is working perfectly. the thing that puzzled me is why the K700 worked, but the K750 can't. And the funny thing is the K700 does not have any driver or SW installed, I used FMA over BT to talk to the phone. And the remote control just worked. K750, installed file manager, driver etc, and can't work. puzzling.

Maybe the script loaded on fMA in not designed for such newest phone (difficult but possible), anyway what did the Activity log on fma says? And also it does not work with the built-in remote control function or with the FMA scripts?
