How to get rid of the rubbish download and backup apps supplied with the phone from Orange. I'm conversant in S-man so no probs,but I don't want to delete the wrong things!

I think you need the unlock software and cables to do stuff like that... But if anyon knows how to do it through SMAN I would appreciate that too...

I'm sure it could be done just by deleting the correct files, as if uninstalling an application. I'm not too bothered about the orange branding, just that I never use the standard orange apps, an I hate scrolling down more pages than necessary!

I tried to do this and managed to see the files but they are read only on disk A (ROM). So in the end I found someone locally that unlocked and debranded the thing in 15mins for £15.
