Can anyone confirm multi-character search working on any Asian version of the k750i? The lack of this feature is probably the most annoying thing about this phone for me.
It seems to work on in the european firmware versions.

This is the feature where you tap multiple characters to serach for an entry in the Contacts (type '2' '4' '5' to get to the entry for "Bill", for example).
I have a version from HK and everytime i hit a new key, it jumps to the first entry for that letter. In the example above, instead of taking me to "bill", it takes me to the first entries for the letters, 'a', 'g' and 'j' and then i need to scroll.
