> My Sound Files are gone, please help

I just got P910i a couple of days ago. I remember I browse through the phone and play some sound file (hello, opera,etc) however, I need to master reset my phone, after i reset it my sound files are gone. I couldn't find anything on the CDs either. IS there anyone had this problem before, please advise. Also how do i format drive C:?

Master Reset removes data, its not a problem it is a logical fact. Go to the SE wap site to d/load the original content.
You can format the C:\ via the Service Menu (please search for how to get there) and that removes everything including junk files so the phone has only what is contained within the firmware i.e. only the pre-installed apps

Are you saying that formatting Drive C: will get me back to the original setting which including all the files that come with the phone (eg. pic, sound, video). If so could you guide me to the steps of how to format drive C:, I really have no idea. I know that you can format the memory stick, but I didn't see Drive C: as a formattable drive. Also my version is CDA 162005/11 R4A02(P910i), on the SE site it said that this is the most update version.

Formatting the drive will remove everything that is noy used by the OS. Try the SE website. They have most of the sounds and pictures on there.

I went to the website, and found the sounds that I want. However, the only way to download it is to use the phone to go the website. Am I correct on that? Is there any other way to download it through the computer then transfer the file to the phone later?

It happens when you master reset. No trouble. With gprs, go browse any site on earth and download to store stuff into your phone.

@thitikorn...of course..you can download files from the fun and downloads section...i think you gotta register at the website...for free

Thank you for all of your responses. But still need to know is there anyway that I can save the ringtone files from SE site, then transfer it to my phone cause I don't have the internet connection from my phone. I did register with SE site already, but I can only preview the file. It said on the site that I need to you my phone to connect to wap.sonyericsson.com.... again really appreciate all of you for responding.
