Hi everybody,
Could anybody tell me why does the time in my p910 runs about 10 mins fast everyday. I have installed worldmate tracker mobimate powerprotect Appforge Flashplay MyDiary Taskman.
I hope these softwares are not responsible. Please help me. Yes I remember one day the time had not changed. it was accurate but Idont remember what difference i had faced that day. Thanx in advance in helping me.

It would be very unusual for the clock to lose/gain that amount of time every day. Perhaps your phone is updating its time from your operator's network and their time is incorrect.

Can't remember how you can alter this setting though.

Quote:I remember one day the time had not changedProbably on that day you did not connect your phone to your PC which auto-synchronizes the phone's time. So, check your PC's clock.

Hi

I had the same problem.
Sent it to the carrier 3 times, who never saw the problem (because they erase the device first).
Later I found out some applications bug the system clock when they are installed on the internal storage. After having installed those apps on the external storage, my system time will not jump anymore.

Hope it helps.

back then I only had a few apps installed:
taskman
fileman
tracker
smartmovie
vrally
quickpoint
opera
mobipocket pro
oxford dictionary

I never bothered doing a one by one test what app was causing the trouble
it was more alucky incident I had wasted all space on the internal when I reinstalled the apps (internal was full of pictures).
So after I installed all apps I was amazed the clock didnt jump anymore.

PS:
it could also be due to the service center flashing the phone three times, but I think that's not making any sense. (it was always the same software version when I got it back)
