i have tried every thing but still cant use the transfered mp3 as my ringtone. getting a bit annoy cuz my d500 did all sort of things..help please. anyone?!

Is it a Vodafone branded version? Vodafone has deliberately mocked with the firmware to prohibit mp3 files as ring tones. Instead, they want you to buy expensive ringtones from their portal. Also, they have removed almost all of the original ringtones in the phone, leaving only a few dull ones.
