I want to connect my fone with my labtop using infrared/Bluetooth and download some themes from the internet. is it possible? any one to give me a hand on this.

Its really simple. If your laptop has an IR port already, you can use that. You'll find it either in your system tray, or in the control panel.
If it does not, buy yourself a USB Bluetooth adaptor, or Bluetooth PC card. They'll come with instructions on how to use them, and are really easy to set up.

you may need to activate your laptop IR port through the BIOS before it will appear in the control panel, becuase many manufacturers turn it off by default.
