A simple question on DaVinci and serial cable. I have one serial cable which I use to connect my k500 to the computer. It works with FMA and K700 Dateimanager with RTS and DTR settings set as default (fma - RTS:on DTR:off; Dateinmanager - RTS:handshake DTR:on).

Now I'm trying to use DaVinci to change sms tones and it does not connect, no matter to what I set the RTS/DTR settings in the client. The DaVinci client itself says that:

please try uncheck RTS or DTR boxes

So after messing with RTS/DTR settings I anyway get the message:

You have a DATA cable. It must be modified in order to work with any of these flashing programs. I believe either the vendor or another competing vendor has detailed instructions on how to modify the cable, or you can serach on this forum. Look for "T28 cable"
