I would have to disagree with you on that. I churn out lines of text on my 9500 faster than I ever did on any other device. Maybe you meant text on the cover phone? If so, the people at whom the communicators are targeted generally do not bother with the cover phone except to receive (and maybe initiate) calls.

Difference between Communicator and Smartphone:
1. Communicators usually have a full QWERTY keyboard (not some puny keypad), and are primarilly a worktool (really more a palmtop PC) rather than telephone.

2. Smartphones are first phones, with PDA functions included, and usually are touchscreen for text input

Differences between 9500 and 9300: 9500 has Wi-fi and camera (both of which the 9300 does not have), and is bigger than the 9300. Again, the keyboard layout on the 2 devices are slightly different. Other than that, no other significant differences that I am aware of.

Its not really a question of which is better. Its more of which meets your needs.

Personally, I chose the 9500 because I have large fingers and the keys on the 9300 would have been a pain for me to use.

it really depends the nokia 9500 is much better than the 9300.
the 9300 has no camera where as the 9500 does.
if u were gonna swap a nokia 6230 for the nokia 9500 that would be good as the nokia 9500s much better than the nokia 6230.

The N9300 is a lighter version of the N9500. So, for someone who does not care about a camera on phone, the N9300 will be a better choice.

My sentiments exactly. I doubt if its really an issue of one being better than the other. The performance of both devices are roughly on par. The differentiation is only in size, and inclusion/exclusion of camera and wi-fi.

@all: I now have the "Bliss" skin for my 9500. Its simply lovely. I even re-designed my browser's startpage to reflect that too. Screenshots coming up!
