Saw the movie last night. I really enjoyed it. In my opinion it's the best Batman movie to date. This theme of this movie is also the closest to the comics I use to read when I was younger.

Luckly there is no Robin in this movie. The fight scenes are very spectacular and the gadgets are convincing.

Your opinions?

No, I went to the local Vue cinema, and just bought a ticket. I missed the performance that I wanted to see as I deliberately arrived late. I normally try to be about 10 minutes late to miss all the previews, but they did not show any previews - started directly with the movie. They had a show starting every hour. The cinema was filled about a third and that was the 8.30 performance.

i watched it last night and was going to make a thread but thought there already was once I couldn't find.

The movie was EXCELLENT!
There are a few errors in the movie (not scene mistakes but moral mistakes) I want to talk about it but I dont want to spoil it..

It's the best Movie so far, the story line is good too, but as usual Hollywood changes some things and it pisses me off that they change a classic character.

Yeah, the car does look nice. Besides it looks more armoured compared to the previous movies and in being so are more convincing to to all the fancy stunts etc.

@ amnesia:
What moral issues did you not agree with in the movie?

Most of the filming was done in Cardington Hangars in Bedford. and loads of the extras in the film are from Bedford!

the fact that Batman killed the ninja's right after saying that he wont kill people.

He didn't even try to talk about a resolution.

actually, i can understand that from the perspective of defending both himself and the man they asked him to execute. he said he wasn't a murderer, which is different from self-defence and defence of others.

as for changing the "classic character" i assume you're talking about Gordon. they actually didn't change him that much since the film is actually based on the Batman: Year One comics, which is set before the originals. in those stories Gordon is still fairly early in his career.
