> problem with the screen

On my k700i, when i left it on my bedside table on a hot sunny day, the inner part of the screen cracked leaving a large black stripe across my screen. The heat was obviously too much 4 it but could i claim that on the warranty?

Not a chance. It will state in the manual safe temperatures & hence it would be your fault.
Similarly warranty does not cover waterdamage etc.
However, this is assuming u TELL them! Play dumb & say it appear for no apparent reason
