Purchased a Unbranded P910i from a member here at Esato.

I have tried 1 O2 sim card and 2 Orange Sim Cards and i get no network signals, it says Emergency Calls Only.

What is causing this?

Is it Barred? If so i can send it back?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Can't remember exactly but isn't there a service menu you go into on the p910 and check everything. I'm sure there was on my p900. This message was posted from a WAP device

The first thing always to do when there is trouble is: Switch the phone off and take the battery out. Wait 2min. to clear the memory, then reinsert and boot up. Now access the Service menu with: "jog dial up * jog dial down, jog dial down * jog dial down * ". Then push 1 for information, then 3 for SIM locks. There it will show you four little lock icons. This will show you if the phone is locked to a a) Network, b) Network subset, c) Service provider, or d) Corporate.

Resident is right, you should check to see if all sim locks are unlocked.

Nice screen shot. That is exactly the screen we are looking for to see if his phone is truly unlocked.
