Does your gprs service provider allow full web access?

Don't let XP choose its own default drivers. Have tried it, but not with T610. Where are you located (country) at? Hope the user & pass, that you use, are valid !

i'm not so tech savvy but maybe this will clarify,..rather than a regular land line dialup, i tried to connect with
bluetooth and cellph using the same pass, &user as with std dialup through juno, and aol,..in each case got the error noted when contacting them as well as a cpl other isp's, was told the bt and connect was not supported
this tells me they don't know, i did something wrong,or i need to use a diff isp,...hence i need 2 things if anyone knows, 1. a list of isp's that do support and/or 2. instruct on proper setup

on your pc go to connections
1.create new connection
2.connect to the internet
3.set up my account manually
4.connect using dial up modem
5.uncheck box beside pc modem, check bt modem
6.give isp name as you like it
7.phone number *99**x# (where x represents CID of your gprs account, mostly it's 1, if not pm me, so we'll find it)
8.then you must enter user name and password. they mostly are the same as user id and pass you entered for gprs on phone. if not, you must ask your mobile operator customer care centre or ask someone here who uses the same operator

Don't think your wireless provider supports dial-up over GSM (known as CSD, circuit-switched data).

i.e. you need to look for a different wireless phone network which supports dial-up. Don't believe there are many(if at all) in the U.S. You should be calling your mobile phone service provider, NOT ISP's.

Post by "blayv" above is telling yo how to connect via GPRS, a service provided by your wireless network, who is also your ISP in this case. I don't think that's what you want to use, but you may have no choice in the end.
